The position of Technical Product Owner presents an exciting opportunity to define the digital experience for customers and employees’ experiences across our dealer-distributor value chain.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Customer and Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with customers, end-users, and stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Lead design thinking sessions with focus groups to identify the product features. Should be able to lead the creation of low fidelity wireframes, and product prototypes.
  • Define Product Vision: Develop a clear and inspiring vision for the technical product, aligning it with the overall business goals and strategy in collaboration with the business leads.
  • Product Backlog Management: Prioritize and maintain a well-defined product backlog based on business value, technical dependencies, and customer needs. Feedback Incorporation: Gather feedback and incorporate it into the product backlog to continuously improve the product.
  • User Story Definition: Break down the product features into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Understanding Technology Stack: Possess a strong understanding of the technology stacks, architecture, and infrastructure relevant to the business and product.
  • Make Technical Decisions: Make informed decisions on technical aspects, considering scalability, security, and other technical requirements.
  • Release Planning and Roadmap Creation: Collaborate with the development team to plan releases, considering feature dependencies, timelines, and resource availability.
  • Roadmap Creation: Develop and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the strategic direction and future development plans.
  • Facilitate Collaboration: Act as a bridge between different functional teams, such as development, testing, and operations, to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Promote Agile Practices: Embrace and promote Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, to enhance collaboration and efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance and Validation: Define acceptance criteria for user stories and participate in acceptance testing to ensure that the delivered product meets the required standards. Work closely with the quality assurance team to address defects and ensure the overall quality of the product.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices on product management and relevant technology trends.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Educational Background: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science/ information technology/ software engineering, or a related field. Additional certifications in enterprise architecture or specific technologies can be beneficial.
  • Technical Expertise: Digital Experience Platforms, UX tools, UI frameworks, Full Stack technologies required.
  • Product Requirements and Release Management Tools: Tools like confluence, Azure DevOps
  • Cloud Computing: Knowledge of cloud computing required.
  • Problem-solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex problems, identify solutions, and implement strategies that align with business goals.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication and collaboration skills to interact effectively with stakeholders, business leaders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Innovation and Adaptability: Ability to stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices. Flexibility to adapt to evolving technologies and changing business needs.
  • Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to evaluate systems, identify gaps, and propose solutions.

Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in the IT industry with predominant experience in working on digital transformation projects using modern technology stack.
  • Experience in implementation of omnichannel customer experience management, retail eCommerce, order management, digital marketing are required. Experience with automotive dealer distribution operations will be advantageous.
